A Personal Use Case for Pure Sea buckthorn seed oil as a Daily Supplement for Hair Growth.

Hand holding healthy hair

There is a lot of hype around using sea buckthorn seed oil to improve the look and quality of our hair, nails and skin. Products like facial creams, anti-aging serums, shampoos and soaps are everywhere. And as much as these products can be beneficial when committed to, I firmly believe in the power of foods and that in their purest forms, they can nourish and heal from the inside out.

After passing through a time in my life when I experienced high stress and anxiety, I realized how un “healthy” I had become. I was not sick and had the energy to get through the day. Still, I had recently come out of a long period of not eating the right foods or not eating at all, and my hair and skin were proof of this neglect. Then I did some age math and came to the undeniable conclusion that I needed to make room for a deep focus on my body’s long-term health.

The effects of this neglect were severe; I had lost my hair to the point of seeing my scalp through my ponytail; my ends split along the strands, and I could not get any length -my hair was getting shorter without trimming! So I put my product to the test and began consuming just 1/3 tsp of Pure Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil daily to see what would happen. Did you know that if kept in the fridge, this oil has a consumable lifespan of over two years?

Full disclosure:

First, I began to eat better overall, consumed more water, and got back to exercising regularly -but this did not help my hair issues even after six months of keeping a regular routine.

I did not colour, cut, or treat my hair with anything during the period I am writing about here.

The only facial moisturizer I used was pure Sea Buckthorn seed oil daily, which I have used for years and continue to use today.

After only a couple of months of consuming pure Sea Buckthorn seed oil, I witnessed dramatic results, to say the least. I began to notice my nails were growing faster and brighter. And the dark patches on my forehead faded away. But the most noticeable change was in my hair. I started seeing new hair growth, and my hair slowly stopped breaking off at the ends.

As I write this article, a year has passed since I began consuming 1/3 tsp of oil daily, those first new hairs that showed up within 2 months have grown to earlobe length, and new hairs are regularly popping up. My scalp remains full of fresh sprouts, and I can proudly sport a ponytail again. Most importantly. I no longer freak out at how much hair I see in my hands as I shower because there are very few now.

I have never had thick luscious locks, and my hair has always been fine -so I did not expect to suddenly have an ultra-thick mane. However, now, I can confidently say that my hair is healthy, has regained its length and no longer has visible splits going up the strands. And it is the thickest it has ever been.

You might ask yourself, what makes Sea buckthorn seed oil so great for hair health?

The answer is VITAMINS; B vitamins, vitamin D, vitamin E, zinc, biotin, and iron in sea buckthorn oil help replenish your hair. In addition, fatty acids help keep locks moisturized by blocking the moisture within. As a result, using sea buckthorn oil for your hair could help make the hair follicles healthier and promote your hair’s growth.

Although I am conscious that each individual will have varying results, in my case, increasing my daily consumption of the vitamins and fatty acids in sea buckthorn seed oil helped boost my body’ ability to produce healthy follicles and new hair growth within just 2 months. As a result, my confidence has been restored, and my trust in my product’s efficiency has been personally tested and proven genuine!
