This cultivar has few thorns.

Fruits are bright orange when ripe. These berries remain firm on the branch to be harvested for up to four to six weeks. Harvest time is usually August into early Sept. 

Average berry weight 68g/100 berries.

The berries from this cultivar are a favourite for use in nutraceuticals. The flavour is mild and pleasant since it is low in total acids, which makes it a great choice for food and beverages as well.

The sea buckthorn shrubs: Mary, is high in oil content and is used for commercial oil production purposes also (nutraceuticals).

Don’t forget you need at least 1 male sea buckthorn shrub to pollinate 6 to 8 female plants.
