A medium-height shrub (10′ – 12′ H) with very few thorns.
The large oval fruits mature to a deep yellow in late summer, approximately 100 days after flowering.
Harvest time is roughly two weeks.
The tropical flavor and low acidity make this fruit perfect for juicing and comestibles.
Sunny Sea buckthorn berries are large and very juicy. The average weight per 100 berries is approximately 100 grams!
Don’t forget you need at least 1 male sea buckthorn shrub to pollinate up to 7 female plants.
