Notes

✏️ Additional Notes

  • Oil Type: This recipe uses sea buckthorn seed oil, which is rich in colour and nutrients. It may lightly tint the lotion and skin temporarily—this is normal and fades quickly.
  • Texture Tip: If the final texture feels too loose, you can re-melt and add a bit more beeswax. If too firm, soften with a few drops of sweet almond oil and remix.
  • Essential Oil Variations:
    • For calming skin → chamomile + lavender
    • For brightening & circulation → grapefruit + frankincense
    • For fungal-prone areas (like feet) → tea tree + eucalyptus
  • Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place, and always use clean fingers or a spatula to avoid contamination.
  • Shelf Life: Up to 6 months, depending on freshness of ingredients.
